Structuring developed pieces & Responding to 'masquerade' idea - VDU Lesson 6 (PMD1&2)

This image shows the structure that we came up with for the material that we have already created. The reason for us doing this is because it we are starting to piece together the performance itself and it is useful for us because we can use this to decide what we are going to do in our lessons so we aren't wasting time deciding what to do because we have this structure that we can refer back to.

This video here shows my response to the 'masquerade idea'. We looked at a short clip from the phantom of the opera to look at the style of dancing that is held at masquerades and they were using fans, so we quickly made our own out of paper and used it to help us generate material. In this video I am using the fan to cover over my face to represent staying away from 'contagion'.

To develop this response I would add another person to the material and use more traditional dance styles such as the waltz.
